The agreement between Evarin Lash & Beauty and our clients. Plain English. No surprises.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to every booking made with Evarin Lash & Beauty, whether through this website, the Fresha booking platform, by phone, by WhatsApp, by email, or in person. By booking with us, you agree to the terms below.
Evarin Lash & Beauty (ABN 59 690 190 080) is operated at Level 1, 80A Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006, and provides mobile services within 20 km of Brisbane CBD.
2. Bookings
All bookings are confirmed by email or SMS through Fresha. Please check the time, date, service, and location of your appointment before arriving. If anything looks wrong, contact us as soon as possible.
For mobile services, the location you provide at booking is the location we travel to. Address changes within 24 hours of your appointment may incur an additional travel fee.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. The time has been reserved specifically for you, and short-notice cancellations leave a gap we can’t usually fill.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of your appointment may incur a fee of up to 50% of the booked service value. No-shows may be charged the full service value. Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in a deposit being required for future bookings.
Life happens — please just let us know as early as you can. We use our discretion and won’t penalise genuine emergencies.
4. Late arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may need to shorten your service to keep the day on schedule, or reschedule entirely. The full service fee may still apply.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at the end of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. We accept card (tap, chip, or contactless), Apple Pay, Google Pay, EFT, bank transfer, and cash. For mobile services, payment is taken on-site at the end of the treatment.
Promotional codes apply only as advertised. Codes cannot be combined with other offers and apply only to first-time clients unless otherwise stated.
6. Promotions and limited-quantity offers
From time to time we run new-client promotions. Where an offer is limited to a number of new clients (for example, a "first 3 new clients this month" offer), eligibility is determined in the order bookings are received and confirmed in Fresha. We’ll let you know if a slot you booked under a promotional code is no longer available.
7. Health, safety, and consent
Lash and brow treatments involve products that can cause allergic reactions in a small percentage of people. Please tell us before your appointment if you have any allergies, recent eye surgery, eye conditions, sensitive skin, or are pregnant. We may decline service or recommend a patch test in advance if there is any concern.
You must be 16 years or older to book a lash extension service without a parent or guardian present. For under-16 clients, a parent or guardian must accompany the appointment and sign consent on the day.
We reserve the right to refuse, pause, or stop a service if we believe it is not safe to continue. We’ll always explain why.
8. Aftercare and retention
Lash extension retention depends heavily on aftercare in the first 24 hours and the products you use over the wear cycle. We provide written aftercare guidance at every first appointment, and aftercare instructions are also published on our website.
If retention is shorter than expected and aftercare was followed, contact us within 5 days of your appointment and we’ll rebook a no-charge top-up.
9. Photography and social media
We may take photos of your work for our portfolio and social media. If you’d prefer we don’t, please tell us at the start of your appointment — this is no problem at all. Where photos do include your face or identifiable features, we ask for explicit permission before any are posted publicly.
10. Gift cards
Evarin gift cards are issued through Fresha and are valid for 3 years from purchase, in line with Australian Consumer Law. Gift cards are not refundable for cash, are not replaceable if lost, and can be used in part or whole towards any service.
11. Liability and consumer guarantees
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major service failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the services remedied if the services are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
To the extent permitted by law and outside the consumer guarantees above, our liability for any single appointment is limited to the price you paid for that service.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Effective from" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of our booking system after a change is taken as acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes (anything affecting your rights as a client) will be flagged at your next booking.
